Manfredi: «We want to be protagonists in autonomy»

“Road to important levels of performance, Lep, cannot be translated into bureaucratic indications of new obligations towards the Municipality, without a thorough analysis of the additional steps and resources required. The state must guarantee a more advanced and fair social protection system, in accordance with our Constitution.” President Anci and the Mayor of Naples said this Gaetano Manfrediin his speech before the national assembly of the association of Italian cities, spoke about a different kind of autonomy.

A discussion about “we do not want to be simple implementers, but protagonists of sustainable growth for everyone. Every reform must have a priority goal, namely the moral and material unity of the country, Italy which wants to be an authoritative protagonist on the European and global stage. Regarding this complicated issue, Anci’s position is unanimous and clear: maximum respect for constitutional regulations and therefore safeguard the fundamental functions of Municipalities and Municipalities which are directly tied to the State. We will not back down from this, because we believe that good relations between Municipalities and Municipalities are the basis of Italy’s growth”, he added.
