The sentence was five years ineligible

He will be tried on appeal from January 13 to February 12 2026. The appeal court decision is expected in the summer but Marine Le Pen envisioned it in an interview on Western France so it can be shipped in September. “I have said that I will not jeopardize my political party’s chances in the presidential election by resigning.”he complained.

At the beginning of November, the Chief Deputy RN confirmed that he would not run for office “obviously not” in 2027 if his sentence is upheld on appeal and he will therefore announce his decision immediately, without waiting for a possible appeal.
