Massimo Lopez returns to the stage with a great one man show that combines music and irony in a perfect balance of elegance and rhythm, accompanied by the Jazz Company directed by Maestro Gabriele Comeglio. Four unique events are scheduled starting on April 7 at the Carcano Theater in Milan, on April 9 at the Alfonso Rendano Theater in Cosenza, on April 24 at the Trianon Theater in Naples and finally on May 19 at the Ambra Jovinelli Theater in Rome. Massimo Lopez’s show will be a journey between swing, theater and light signed by an artist who continues to fascinate. The show, produced by Stemal Srl and with the artistic direction of Alessandro Lopez, was organized and distributed by Vincenzo Berti and Gianluca Bonanno for Ventidieci and by Stefano Francioni Produzioni. Having settled on the premise, the basic question is what is this show going to be like? Lopez interpreted the great American swing classics with class and irony, offering the public an evening of pure entertainment and subtle emotions. His impersonations, warm voice, stage presence and natural ability to communicate make every moment unique. A performance that speaks of passion, art and life, with the spontaneity and grace of a performer who makes lightness a profound art. “Every time I go on stage – says Massimo Lopez – I feel the same emotions as always, but today it has a different taste: maturity, light awareness. This performance is a dialogue with the audience through music and irony, two languages that I have loved all my life and that continue to surprise me as if it were the first time”.
At 73 years old, Massimo Lopez is undoubtedly one of Italy’s most complete showmen and is not only known for his unforgettable (and unforgettable) Trio with Marchesini and Solenghi.
He made his theater debut in 1975 with Mattia Pascal’s Fu with giants such as Giorgio Albertazzi and Lina Volonghi, he made television at a very high level, he even dubbed Robin Williams. In short, the show will be a one-man show like few others.
