Stages of the Olympic flame
In nine days there will be more than 450 torchbearers who will travel two thousand km, touching seven regions of the country in a journey reminiscent of the symbiosis between Greece and the Olympic spirit that will end on December 4 in Athens.
From that day, the Olympic torch will move to Italy with a journey that will start from Rome on December 6 on a journey lasting 63 days and ending on the evening of February 6 with the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics at San Siro. From Lazio to Sicily, from Calabria to Emilia-Romagna to the cities and mountain resorts of Northern Italy, the Olympic flame will spread far and wide at the Bel Paese.
