Rome, November 15 (Adnkronos) – “The news of the death of Senator Cesare Cursi makes us very sad. With his defeat, Italy lost a very deep institutional point of reference and was characterized by competence and attachment to the region. Together with him, we shared many struggles for the constituents of Central Rome, such as opposing the closure of the San Giacomo degli Incurabili Hospital in 2008. During his political activity, both in Parliament and in the Government and in the various responsibilities he carried out, he demonstrated thoroughness and commitment constantly in defense of the country’s most vulnerable citizens, with a particular focus on health issues and social policy. His contribution to the good of the nation will never be forgotten.
