They were found dead in an apartment in Innsbruckin Austrian Tyrol, a 34-year-old woman and her 10-year-old daughter: they have been missing since July 2024. According to the police – writes Apa – it is a case of murder. The two men suspected of the crime, a 55-year-old Austrian citizen and his 53-year-old brother, were arrested last June and have been in custody since then, but only now have the bodies of the woman and girl been discovered.

The bodies of the mother and daughter were found in a large refrigerator hidden in a remote part of the storage room of an apartment in Innsbruck. One of the two arrested brothers was a co-worker of the woman and had been in a relationship with her, it was announced at a press conference. When the mother and daughter disappeared after a trip to Düsseldorf 16 months ago, investigators immediately suspected the 55-year-old, also because of strange movements in the bank account. He and his brother, the owner of the apartment where the grisly discovery took place, admitted to hiding the bodies, but denied murder. That would be an accident. The exact cause of death is not yet known due to the condition of the two bodies.
