Children kidnapped to join ISIS: mother goes to court

Serious accusations against a German mother: She is said to have joined ISIS. The surprising thing: He took his underage children to Syria.
As recently as October 2014, a German woman reportedly traveled to Syria with her minor children to join ISIS. Now the mother must answer before the Munich Regional High Court (OLG).
The woman was charged with alleged membership in an overseas terrorist organization. The court announced that the OLG State Security Senate had opened primary proceedings against him. The trial is scheduled to begin on February 11, 2026.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office charged the defendant with actively joining ISIS after leaving the civil war zone in Syria and thereby endangering the lives of his children.
