Munich – At first it was “just” a meeting of four young men in the backyard of the European Patent Office in Munich. Then there was an argument that had terrible consequences for a 17-year-old boy: he lost his eye from a gunshot!

According to police, the Bulgarian citizen (17) who was in… Munich alive, and a Kosovar (19) with no fixed address went to a backyard near Corneliusstrasse on Monday evening at around 19:25, possibly to start a drug transaction, as the police are investigating.

Young people are straight in the eyes

They met two previously unknown perpetrators. However, in this conversation, a debate occurred. Investigators said one of the assailants fired an unloaded gun at the 17-year-old. Pepper spray was also used by one of the men.

“The teenager was shot in the eye,” a police spokesman told BILD, possibly with a blank pistol or a gas gun. This causes the eyeball to burst and the eye socket to fracture. As a result, total blindness occurred in his right eye.

The unknown perpetrator is now at large

His colleague managed to escape to a nearby shop. From there, the witnesses called the police emergency number 110. Despite a massive search, the two unidentified men managed to find the police.
