“Music helps Ukrainians survive”: France’s Salomé Gasselin makes viola da gamba resound in Kyiv

For its second edition, which ends this Friday, Kyiv Baroque Fest, in collaboration with the French Institute in Kyiv, invited 32-year-old Salomé Gasselin. The rising star of the viola da gamba – the ancestor of the cello – was played by the artist in front of an audience of 500 on Wednesday 19 November.
