Netflix success: “I’m clean”: Warrant arrests rapper giving first concert since documentary

At his first concert since the release of the successful Netflix documentary about his life, the German rapper Arrest warrant convinced to stay away from drugs. “You’ve probably all seen my documentary. I want to tell you, I’m clean,” the musician shouted to his fans from the stage on Saturday night – erupting in loud cheers. “And I hope you keep it that way too. To hell with drugs!”

“Babo – The Story of the Arrest Warrant” about Aykut Anhan (39), as the original name of the arrest warrant was, was a huge success for the streaming service. Netflix. The much-talked-about documentary earned millions of views just days after its release in late October and ranked number one in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The documentary discusses that the musician consumed cocaine for years. In many shots, he seems genuinely interested.

The rapper shakes some hands

According to dpa reporters, the hall at the Alando Palais in Osnabrück that evening was filled to capacity and the atmosphere was relaxed. During the concert that started after midnight and lasted only half an hour, the arrest warrant was shaking hands in front of the stage. He also performed hits such as “069” and “Chabos Know Who the Babo Is”.

The rapper looked much slimmer than the final image in the documentary showed him. He covered the lower part of his face during the performance. An arrest warrant ended the club’s concert without an encore.
