He was runner-up at the World Junior Championships in 2017, and experts even compared him to world champion Beat Feuz. However, he struggled with serious injuries throughout his career. He fractured his tibia and fibula for the first time in 2019, and again in 2022. Over the course of his career, he was hampered by further injuries. He finally ended his career in December 2024.

Following his resignation, he explained: “My journey over the last few years has not always been easy, and neither was this decision, as skiing is an important part of my life. However, over the years I have had to endure seven serious injuries and more than 20 operations, which means I no longer want to take this risk.”
