Washington Commanders – Detroit Lions 22:44
On Saturday it was announced that US President Donald Trump wants the new Commanders Stadium (to be completed in 2030) to be named after him. A day later, he stopped by Commander and watched a game in owner Josh Harris’ room. Shortly before the game, Trump flew over the stadium on Air Force One.

When the Lions receiver scored a touchdown, he pointed towards Trump’s seat in the stands and did the US presidential dance routine. Commanding defender Deron Payne didn’t think it was funny and punched him in the face. Payne flew off the field.
In the third quarter, Trump made a big appearance on Fox, the broadcast station. He acted as co-commentator for almost 5 minutes. He revealed that he once played tight end but was too bad at quarterback.
The last time a US president attended an NFL regular season game was on October 2, 1978. It was Jimmy Carter.

From a sporting standpoint, the Lions’ offense is unstoppable. Quarterback Goff threw for three touchdowns, and running back Gibbs also scored three touchdowns (two runs, one caught).
Replacement quarterback Marcus Mariota should play for the Commanders. Despite playing very well (2 touchdowns), the defense was unable to provide any pressure at all (0 sacks). So the Lions have an easy game.
Los Angeles Rams – San Francisco 49ers 42:26
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford continues to play a star from heaven. He contributed four goals to the clear victory. Stafford has again shown that he is one of the top candidates to win the MVP title.
This season he has 25 touchdowns and just two interceptions. He is completing 70 percent of his passes and has racked up 2,427 passing yards so far. Nothing else is possible.
The injury-plagued 49ers defense is once again weakened. It didn’t help that backup quarterback Mac Jones threw for three touchdowns.
Seattle Seahawks – Arizona Cardinals 44:22
What a rocket launch from the Seahawks! In the middle of the second quarter, the score was 35:0 in favor of the hosts. A statement. Lawrence defenders were able to take two fumbles from Cardinals quarterback Brissett into the end zone.
After that, the administration mode is announced. The Cardinals used this to enhance their results – but not much else.
