no more departments are on orange alert this Monday night

There are no more departments on orange alert as of Monday 24 November, according to the Météo-France bulletin published at 10pm. The orange rain flood alert was lifted in Ain, Isère, Savoie and Haute-Savoie. The orange flood warning was also lifted for Doubs and Jura. The same alert was lifted at 4 p.m. for Gironde, Dordogne and Corrèze.

In its bulletin, Météo-France said “Rainfall remains abundant in the Northern Alps and Jura Mountains until Monday evening.” The Vigicrues government website specifies that “the rate is increasing rapidly” in Loue, Monday afternoon, and that “This marked increase will continue throughout Monday evening”. From “significant water overflow and significant damage” must be feared “early in the evening”and the peak is expected to occur at Ornans (Doubs) station.
