Fights, police intervention, insults, and a police officer who slipped and threw a punch. This is essentially what happened one night in June 2021 in Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine), resulting in a young man being injured and a police officer being sentenced to twelve months in prison with a ban on practicing his profession.
This peacekeeper, who was assigned to Clichy police station and was 26 years old at the time of the incident, opposed the decision. In addition, this Friday, he must appear before the Versailles Court of Appeal for “violence committed by a person in a position of public authority.”
