operation against drug trafficking produces results – Il Tempo

Milan, November 15 (askanews) – United States Southern Command, the military responsible for security in the Caribbean, Central America and South America, has released images of another US airstrike on a ship that, according to the military, was carrying USDA drug smugglers on November 10 in the Caribbean Sea.

This blitz was part of the launch of Operation Southern Spear, against “narco-terrorists” announced by US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

President Donald Trump’s administration has accused the Venezuelan government of not taking action against drug trafficking. And since September, the US has launched missile attacks on Venezuelan ships suspected of carrying drugs.

“I’ve more or less made up my mind. I can’t tell you what my decision will be, but I’ve more or less made up my mind,” Trump said from Air Force One about Venezuela.

“We’ll see what happens. I can’t tell you what it is, but we have made a lot of progress with Venezuela in fighting drug trafficking,” concluded Trump.
