THATOrnella Vanoni’s funeral home will be established at the Piccolo Teatro Grassi via Rovello, in Milan. Member of the Milan Cultural Council, Tommaso Sacchi, announced this in a story on Instagram.
The funeral home will remain open TomorrowSunday November 23 from 10am to 2pm Monday November 24, from 10 am to 1 pm.
Condolences from Mattarella and Meloni
President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella expressed “condolences on the death of Ornella Vanoni, intellectual, cultured and versatile artist, interpreter of subtle songs who left a deep mark in the history of pop music, not only Italian”. Quirinale stated this.
Also Prime Minister Giorgia Melon wanted to dedicate a message to Vanoni: “Deepest condolences on the passing of Ornella Vanoni, our indisputable musical voice, who marked decades of Italian culture and accompanied generations with timeless songs. Italy lost a unique artist, who left us an unrepeatable artistic legacy”, he wrote on social media.
