“Some political forces will propose amendments to the Budget law under discussion, to strengthen outpatient medical specialists. Then there are contract negotiations in Sumai – we have to increase resources and the number of working hours – and resources are needed for local medicine.” This was said by Annamaria Parente (Italia Viva), former president of the Senate Health Commission, speaking at the 57th National Congress of the Association of Outpatient Specialists Sumai – Assoprof, ‘Where theory ends and treatment begins’, in Rome until 13 November.
