Podcaster sides with Nörgel-Gen-Z: “Not everyone can work 40 hours”

A few weeks ago, influencer Julian Kamps divided the internet with his statement about the 40 hour week. Now podcaster Lutz Pedro is defending him.

“I now have 3.5 hours to live so I can be fit again in the morning to go to work,” said the former GNTM participant. Opinions about the video are divided online. Now he’s getting encouragement from podcaster and influencer Lutz Pedro:

“Why do you cry when someone says: This is outrageous, I no longer have time for a personal life, my mental health suffers because of it. Why do you defend millionaires?” he asked in his own Instagram video.

A four day week has many benefits

He emphasizes that everyone is replaceable and that no one will thank you if you work more. A four-day week will have many benefits – especially a fairer balance and greater motivation to work. Apart from that, everyone has different psychological and physical needs, so not everyone can work 40 hours. He received huge popularity for his videos on Instagram.

For example, one user wrote: “There is so much research showing that 30 hours paid full time produces the same value and people are less sick and more motivated.” Another commented: “At least 50 hours every week so the boss can afford a new car next year.”
