Rail traffic: Huntebrücke Oldenburg under repair – closed for three days

The crack was discovered during repair work

Incidentally, the damaged structure is not the Hunte Bridge of the same name near Elsfleth a few kilometers further east. A temporary bridge currently stands there after an inland waterway ship damaged the regular railway bridge. The temporary bridge was also damaged due to an accident with a tanker. A new building should be completed there by late 2027 or early 2028.
