Rapper Zola was detained by police on Tuesday November 18 in Seine-et-Marne, accused along with three others of kidnapping and aggravated violence, said prosecutor Meaux, who confirmed the newspaper’s information Parisian. The act allegedly committed by the artist was carried out on November 6, said the public prosecutor.
According to the Ile-de-France daily, the four men allegedly kidnapped, assaulted and humiliated a young admirer who wanted to photograph the singer at his home in the town of Le Pin, located about twenty kilometers east of Paris. Two friends who accompanied him managed to escape, but the victim was allegedly chased down the street and then forcibly taken to Zola’s house, the daily explained.
The 19-year-old would be forced to undress, his clothes would be burned, then he would be beaten, the outlet said, adding that the rapper and the other attackers would then be assaulted. “opened fire in burst mode with a long gun very close to him”.
At the age of 26, Zola was arrested and placed in police custody for arbitrary detention, organized gang theft, possession of weapons and ammunition without a permit, as well as acts of violence followed by incapacity for more than eight days, said the prosecutor, Jean-Baptiste Bladier.
The investigation was entrusted to the subdirectorate for combating organized crime and special delinquency of the interdepartmental directorate of the national police Seine-et-Marne.
