Voting closed at 15.00 in Campania, Puglia and Veneto where voters, yesterday and today, were called to vote on the renewal of councils and regional councils. The counting operation is in progress. Meanwhile, here is the arithmetic mean of the data released at 15.00 (instant poll Youtrend/Sky TG24 and SWG/La7, exit poll Opinio/Rai)
CAMPAIGN: Image 57.2% Cirielli 38.3%
APULIA: Decaro 65.2% Lobuono 32.7%
VENETO: Stefani 60.7% Manildo 32.8%
The first trends from regions to voting, outlined by Youtrend. The center-right group established its dominance in Veneto, but in their coalition they were in tight competition between the Brothers of Italy (24-28%) and the League (22.5-26.5%). In Puglia, the Democratic Party established itself as the leading regional force (25-29%), ahead of the Fratelli d’Italia which stopped at 18-22%. An extraordinary result for President Decaro’s list: it is the second force in the coalition with 11.-15.5%. In Campania there is a big difference between the Democratic Party (16.5%-20.5%) and the Italian Brothers (14.5-18.5%). Among other political forces, the 5 Star Movement is probably above 10%.
Final voter turnout in Campania was around 43.4%, compared to 55.54% in 2020. In Veneto, voter turnout reached 44.2%, 17 points lower than the previous election cycle, which reached 61.15%. In Puglia, final voter turnout was 42.24%, 14 points lower than in the 2020 election, which was 56.43%.
