Robbie Williams and the weight loss injection that made him lose his sight: a shocking announcement

My vision is blurry, it’s getting worse“. Robbie Williams admitted this to ‘The Sun’, admitting that he had “difficulty seeing the fans during concerts”. He noticed the problem while watching a football match: “I couldn’t tell the players apart, they were just spots on the green field in front of me”, said the former Take That player. “I thought it was a normal decline in vision due to age”. So he turned to an optometrist, who advised him to change his glasses. But the situation did not improve.

“At this point I realized that it’s not about age, but about weight loss injections“, said the British pop star, who decided to tell his experiences for “warning people about potential risks and make sure they do their research before starting such a weight loss program.”

Problems have also occurred at recent shows. “On one of the last tours, I was singing She’s The One to a girl every night. Basically, I was looking at the girls who were facing me. It was an amazing experience for them, they didn’t know that I couldn’t see them… SI checked with an eye doctor, but at that time I didn’t think that the situation was related to the injection. So I changed my glasses,” he added.

“It’s concerning, and honestly, obviously I want to warn people reading this about the potential risks, to make sure they do their research. I’ll probably keep taking the ‘drug’ until I completely lose vision in one eye,” he admitted.

Taking the drug allowed the star to regain almost forgotten physical and mental conditions. “For a long time, mentally, I wasn’t very healthy. It seems like in the last decade, the clouds have cleared and I am a different person. I’m one of those people who likes to practice: stretch, be disciplined, take care of myself. Every morning I wake up and do some mobility exercises for my back. Then I do 100 lunges, 200 push-ups, 100 squats every day, and a lot of core exercises,” he explains. My next goal? “Now I want to be able to do chin-ups.”
