Near tragedy in Rome. A 38-year-old Peruvian woman was stabbed in a car by her former partner and then abandoned on the Grande Raccordo Anulare between the intersections of Cassia and Flaminia. Several motorists raised the alarm and contacted state police.

The 38-year-old man was rescued by 118 health workers and transported under code red to Sant’Andrea hospital. Based on the information we know, the person who injured the woman was her ex-partner, the owner of the car they were riding in. Rome Flying Squad agents are investigating the case.
