Rottweil: Marder paralyzes the church

A marten – or rather its stench – drove an entire community from a church in Rottweil. Due to the consequences of the marten attack, the Church of the Resurrection of Christ cannot currently be entered. Church services will take place at the community center until further notice, said Jürgen Rieger, who is in charge of the church. The smell started eight days ago and is getting stronger.

The exterminator has been there twice. So far no luck. The smell comes from dead martens or from carcasses carried by the marten itself into the heating hole. He was under suspicion there. Rottweil is located 80 kilometers southwest of Stuttgart.
