Poland temporarily closed airports in Rzeszów and Lublin, in the country’s southeast, while Russian attacks hit the western Ukrainian cities of Lviv and Ternopil. As a precaution, Warsaw deployed Polish and allied aircraft to protect its airspace. Romania also released its warplanes this morning after new drone attacks on its territory.
