That Federal Police more action at Berlin Central Station this weekend. The campaign, which ran from November 14 to 16, was part of a nationwide focused operation at more than ten train stations across Germany, as announced by the authorities. The aim is to prevent violent crimes, identify suspects early and strengthen the sense of security of travelers and employees in the rail sector.
According to the Federal Police, the focus is mainly on train stations in large cities and medium-sized urban areas, where incidents have occurred repeatedly in the past. Increased patrols and controls in the station area are planned.
Local offices were supported by federal riot police. There is also a general order at Berlin Central Station prohibiting the carrying of dangerous goods.
