Seine-Saint-Denis: beaten and thrown into the trunk of a car, he managed to escape

It was a screaming man, his face bleeding, who was discovered by passers-by on the Rue du Commandant Baroche in Le Bourget (Seine-Saint-Denis). It was just before 10:30 p.m. Friday night when they confronted the injured man, begging for someone to call the police. Minutes earlier, he had managed to get out of the trunk of the car and was forcibly thrown into it.

According to police sources, the man was in debt from the individual who rented him the Heetch VTC account. A practice that is illegal but has become widespread in recent years. So much so that in just a few clicks you can find an advertisement on the Le Bon Coin site offering this type of rental.

But for this driver, the experience ended very badly. He was forcibly taken by several men, and taken to a parking lot not far from where he was found. In the parking lot, he was beaten by around ten people who also stole his cellphone. His attacker didn’t land any blows. When he was picked up by emergency services, he had bruising, mainly to his face, and a serious cut to his eyebrow.

The suspect was arrested in the parking lot

Things could have gone even further. The victim was thrown into the trunk, but managed to escape, before being treated by emergency services and police.

In an effort to arrest the attackers, officers accompanied by the victim immediately returned to the famous parking lot. He was able to identify a man who was still there with his partner. The suspect tried to run away, but was immediately arrested by the police.

Inside the building, investigators also found a car identified as the car carrying the driver. “The keys were found in the suspect’s pocket,” commented a police source. The man was immediately arrested for kidnapping, violence at a meeting and theft.
