Abdallah Osman Ahmed, who was sentenced on November 7 to 30 years in criminal imprisonment by the Paris Special Court for the attack on Romans-sur-Isère in Drôme on April 4, 2020, is not appealing the sentence, assured ICI Drôme Ardèche (former France Bleu) his lawyer Maître Dimitri Grémont on Monday, November 17.

He was convicted of two terrorist murders and five attempted murders. The court acknowledged the change in policy but did not eliminate it. The security period is set at two-thirds of the sentence as well as a definitive ban on entering French territory. The 38-year-old Sudanese citizen will serve his sentence in France, but after his term ends, he will not have the right to live in the region.
