Shein’s platform was hosted by a National Assembly committee on November 26

He was originally scheduled to be interviewed next Tuesday at the National Assembly by a fact-finding mission, but the Asian group told franceinfo they would not be making the trip.

“As the company is currently involved in several ongoing processes, including legal proceedings, it would not be appropriate to participate in the parliamentary mission hearings at this time”a spokesperson for the group in France told franceinfo. “Shein remains fully prepared to resume trading as soon as these elements are sufficiently clarified.”
