Six airlines canceled flights to Venezuela today, after the United States warned civil aviation of “increased military activity” related to the deployment of US troops in the Caribbean. This was announced by the Venezuelan airlines union.
It is Spain’s Iberia, Portuguese Tap, Colombia’s Avianca, Caribbean Trinidad, Brazil’s Gol and Chile’s Latam that have canceled their routes, said Marisela de Loaiza, president of the Venezuelan Airlines Association.
