Family-friendliness means an affordable city where families on a budget can afford a good life for themselves and their children, Krach said. Regardless of whether they are single parents, patchwork families, men and women, queer families, small or large, they should have the opportunity.
“I love that my children can grow up in a place where people from all over the world live and get to know a cityscape that is characterized by diversity,” Krach said. He wants to ensure that Berlin continues to defend this diversity and remains a cosmopolitan and tolerant city.
