That POLICE has warned residents in Lindhorst in Lower Saxony not to leave their homes. The police operation was ongoing, officials said in a statement that evening. The gunfire occurred in a community west of Hanover and no one was injured, a police spokesman said upon request. Therefore, the special operations command (SEK) is in action.
Residents are advised to stay in their apartments and houses and not leave the house. Initially there was no further information.
