Berlin – Strange things happened at the premiere of the fifth and final season of “Stranger Things” (Netflix) in Berlin. One evening, the disused hangar of Tempelhof Airport became the colorful backdrop for one of the world’s most successful series.
For five days, many trade shows and builders were busy bringing to life the fictional small town of Hawkins in the US. What’s more: 1987 is remembered in style. In the center of the hangar is a large radio station playing the biggest hits of the 80s.
There is a large van hanging under the ceiling, which will play an important role in the final season. Talking about the roles, the four main actors made a special trip to Berlin on Sunday. After acting stars Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Noah Schnapp had to give several press interviews on Monday, they traveled to nearby Teufelsberg in Berlin on Tuesday.
They posed for photos at the former American listening station before arriving at the premiere party after a quick change of clothes. About 500 celebrity guests, journalists and fans were able to watch the first episode of the final season on the big screen.

Singers were among the celebrity guests Rea Garvey with his wife Josephine, actor Tom Beck (“Alpha Male”) as well as presenter Ricardo Simonetti (32) and comedian Nico Stank (36).
While the premiere guests continued to party until midnight after the show, the main actors were already on their way to the hotel. The next day they flew to a premiere party in Tokyo.
