Student stabbed in Milan, one of those arrested: ‘I never saw him again’ – News

The interrogation of two 18-year-olds arrested on November 18, along with three 17-year-olds, for the robbery and attempted murder on October 12, in Milan’s nightlife area of Corso Como, of a 22-year-old Bocconi student, who was severely beaten and then stabbed and suffered permanent injuries, has begun at the San Vittore prison in Milan, before investigating judge Chiara Valori.

“I never saw him again, I don’t think I hit him like that. I was walking around with a knife, because I’ve been attacked in the past.” This is basically the version given by one of two adults. From what has been learned, he and the other adults shared responsibility with the other three minors who were arrested. “I intervened in the fight afterwards and I never saw him again,” the stabber said. According to the story, the three minors acted first.

The adult accused of acting as a ‘post’ “answered, at the moment he is very worried and upset about the victim’s condition, which clearly shows his closeness, wishes him the best and I personally also want to do this for the family, because it seems very important to me, as a parent”, explained his defender, lawyer Elena Patrucchi.

As the lawyer had previously clarified, the young man claimed that he was “distant from the others” and that he was “very sure that it was just a small fight.” However, when he discovered “after some time the knife was used”, he was “shocked”. He said again, the lawyer added, that in his opinion “no one understands the gravity of that fact.” The boy also intended to write and send a letter of apology to the student and his family.

In essence, the line of defense in this case was to drop the charge of attempted murder against him at trial, a crime that in the investigation by the Police and Prosecutor Andrea Zanoncelli was accused, and admitted by the investigating judge, of “moral complicity” in two stab wounds committed by another 18 year old teenager, which caused lung and spinal injuries to the student. Even the perpetrator of the stabbing, defended by lawyer Giovanni Giovanetti, can argue that he did not intend to kill.

Also in the morning, three 17-year-olds who allegedly kicked and punched the 22-year-old, even while he was helpless on the ground, were heard at Beccaria juvenile prison by a juvenile court investigative judge. For them too, there is a moral contribution to the assassination attempt, with a line of defense that can always be focused on this aspect.
