Lorient-based company Seaber has just raised 1.5 million euros to establish itself as one of the pioneers of underwater micro-drones in Europe and spread its reach in new strategic markets.
Brest-based startup Oso AI applies its sound detection technology (falls, calls for help, vomiting) to serve caregivers in elderly healthcare facilities (Ehpads and hospitals). They plan to equip 100,000 rooms by 2026.
Specializing in friction stir welding, Rennes-based Stirweld is expanding in Europe and the United States in the emerging Aerospace and Defense markets.
These three innovative companies have one thing in common: they include the co-investment fund Breizh Up, founded ten years ago by the Brittany Region, into their capital. Operated with European Union support, the companies have each invested 334,000 euros in Seaber this year, 1.1 million euros in Oso AI in 2020 and 2023, and 400,000 euros in Stirweld in 2020, excluding Relevance Invest 2.
