The character dies in the final series death

After more than three decades, a minor character in “The Simpsons” has died – for the second time and now apparently for good.
In the cult series “The Simpsons” one of the characters was affected again: Alice Glick has died. In the most recent episode “Sashes to Sashes” (season 37), the old woman faints while playing the organ in a church service. Pastor Lovejoy and his congregation were stunned.
One of the lesser-known characters of the vast “Simpsons” universe, Alice Glick made her debut in the 1991 episode “Three Friends and a Comic Book” and has since become known as the lovable and slightly absent-minded neighbor. In 2011, he was ripped from life in the episode “The Thing That Came from Ohio” after an adorable robot seal killed him in a nursing home. However, he later returned without further explanation.
But now he has apparently suffered the ultimate serial death. Producer Tim Long confirmed to Entertainment Weekly: “Alice is dead as a doornail” – which is something like “dead as a rat”. Although most of the characters have been on The Simpsons for decades, some lost their lives during the series. These include Maude, the wife of her neighbor Ned Flanders, and music idol Lisa Simpson, saxophonist Bleeding Gums Murphy.
“The Simpsons” is currently in its 37th season and has been renewed for a 40th season. The second film in the series is planned to be released in July 2027.
