The Chinese giant’s trial was to be held on Wednesday before a Paris court, but was postponed after a request from the country’s lawyers.

The Paris judicial court decided on Wednesday 26 November to reject Shein’s case at the request of the State, for procedural reasons, France Inter has learned. The hearing was adjourned until Friday, December 5 at 1:30 p.m.

The Asian platform was summoned to court on Wednesday morning after it discovered the sale of child-like sex dolls and category A weapons. The state wants it suspended in France for three months.

“The government is not comfortable with this issue, this has completely changed, we are ready to submit the application today“, commented Shein’s lawyer, while the public prosecutor has indicated that he will not follow the government’s request to block Shein’s website.
