Rome, November 23 (Adnkronos) – The Italian Embassy in Tehran has been monitoring the case of minor F. since the first report in November 2023. Farnesina conveyed this in a note, adding that the minor’s father, Andrea Papale, who arrived in Iran at the beginning of November, submitted a request for a temporary travel document for his daughter, to leave the country. The mother, who is temporarily absent from the country but can be contacted by telephone by Headquarters, informed the Italian Embassy several times that she did not approve of her daughter’s expatriation from Iran during his absence. The minor, also a British and Iranian citizen, appears to live in Tehran with his mother. The Italian Embassy seeks to facilitate an agreement between the parents. The first hearing of the request for custody of the minor child at the Caltagirone Court is scheduled for January 2026.
