Sealed for three weeks by the court, the basket used in the Louvre robbery on October 19 was returned to its owner, a Parisian freight elevator rental company. Orders to return the machines began on November 6. The goods lift had been ordered on October 9 under a false name, under the pretext of moving, before being stolen by two men riding a scooter in Louvres, in Val-d’Oise.
