The Mossos d’Esquadra are investigating an alleged sexist crime in Barcelona after a woman died in hospital this Friday. The deceased had been hospitalized since October 18 after being attacked by her partner. According to the newspaper ‘Ara’ and police sources confirming to Europa Press, the Catalan police located the woman in critical condition in the Sant Martí neighborhood of the Catalan capital, with signs of having been the victim of a strong physical attack.

Officers from the Sant Martí Investigation Unit arrested her partner, a 30-year-old man already brought to justice, accused of attempted murder.
