An Air France flight from Paris to Seoul was forced to land in Munich after the flight crew detected a burning smell in the cockpit. The transalpine airline announced this, saying that the plane landed safely in the afternoon and that the decision to divert the flight was taken “as a precautionary measure”. The plane was later towed and no passengers were injured.
Air France said the return flight to Paris was scheduled for the evening and, if necessary, accommodation would be provided while waiting for a replacement flight to Seoul.
