The tool bonus starts, here’s how to get it. Io Sites and Apps restored after tilt – News

Two tools for ordering equipment bonuses returned to work – the Io application and the bonusappliances.it portal – which in the morning were blocked and reactivated due to the high demand for such benefits. The company that manages both services is monitoring demand and expects the estimated funding for the initiative, amounting to 48.1 million euros, may have run out.

The Equipment Bonus is underway: from 7am on Tuesday 18 November consumers will be able to apply for membership via the IO app or on the dedicated website www.bonusappliances.it.

The bonus consists of contributions paid in the form of vouchers, aimed at the purchase of equipment with high energy efficiency by users who replace outdated equipment. The goal of this action is to encourage energy savings and encourage proper disposal of old equipment.
Vouchers cover up to 30% of the purchase cost, with a maximum of 100 euros per household and 200 euros for households with an ISEE of less than 25,000 euros per year. In 2025, the total resources allocated to end users amount to 48.1 million euros, from a fund established at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy. But be careful: the electronic bonus will be valid for 15 days from issuance, after which it will expire and cannot be used again.
End users will be able to access the platform until available resources are exhausted (48,100,000 euros).
By accessing via Spid/Cie or with an electronic Access Point (IO app), they submit an application for a voucher if they meet the required conditions. In practice, to enable verification of the requirements, the user must complete a form available on the IT platform with which he declares that the contribution will be used for the purchase of equipment intended to replace other goods of the same type and lower energy class, that he undertakes to deliver the old equipment to the seller and that he has an ISEE valid for 2025, lower than the threshold of 25 thousand euros. Once the check is successfully completed, the IT platform generates a voucher associated with the contribution request, sending specific communications to the end user via email or via the IO application, depending on the channel used. Users must present a voucher to the seller to purchase equipment. The seller will be given a refund equal to the value of the voucher itself.
But equipment manufacturers must also participate in this initiative. This is actually a first step in which it is hoped that only manufacturers whose company names are in the European Product Registry for Energy Labeling public database and stove manufacturers, which are not expected to be listed in the database, will be able to participate. Qualified manufacturers then create a list of equipment. This is because the voucher is only valid for certain types of household appliances that must be made in Europe and meet certain energy requirements: washing machines and washer-dryers with energy class A or higher; oven with energy class A or higher; kitchen hood class B or higher; class C dishwasher or higher; dryer class C or higher; class D refrigerators and freezers or higher; cooker complies with the limits set by EU Regulation 2019/2016.
