Berlin, November 16 (Adnkronos) – “I feel fully involved in the National Day of Mourning. The wounds of humanity’s past cannot be erased, but from them comes a shared commitment to the future, to action that takes our true humanity as its benchmark. Our commitment: Never again. Nie wieder”. The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, underlined this in Berlin, concluding his speech in the Bundestag on the occasion of the ‘National Day of Mourning’ ceremony, 80 years after the end of the Second World War.
