Getting married in 2026: These dates are the most popular among Hamburg residents

Couples in Hamburg are already booking dates for special wedding dates in 2026. One date clearly tops the list of most popular dates.
Registry offices in Hamburg recorded high demand for the wedding date of June 26, 2026. A DPA survey among selected registry offices showed that many couples had already booked this specific date.
In the Hamburg-Nord district, 22 couples have applied for the event June 26, 2026 registered, said a spokesman for the Hamburg-Harburg district office. The office coordinates the registry offices in the Hanseatic city and is responsible for all seven districts of Hamburg.
There are twelve registrations for the Altona district and one registration in Wandsbek. June dates cannot yet be booked at other registration offices.
Also that one June 6, 2026 enjoy popularity. Four couples in Hamburg-Nord and two couples in Hamburg-Harburg are planning to get married today. For June 2, 2026 no registration yet.
In second place among the most popular dates is February 6, 2026 with a total of 19 registrations: five in Wandsbek, four each in Harburg and Hamburg-Nord, three in Hamburg-Mitte, two in Eimsbüttel and one in Bergedorf.
That February 26, 2026 has recorded nine registrations so far: four in Altona, two each in Hamburg-Nord and Wandsbek and one in Bergedorf.
A spokesperson for the Hamburg-Harburg district office explained that registration offices have different activation cycles. “In addition, not all registry offices hold wedding ceremonies all days of the week.”
