Before The hotel in Istanbul where a Turkish-German tourist family was staying was evacuated, after the death of a woman and her two children due to suspected poisoning. Local media reported this, stating that all hotel guests in the Fatih district were transferred to other hotels, but did not state the number of people involved.
Two other tourists staying at the same hotel were rushed to hospital today after experiencing nausea and vomiting. The family felt sick last Wednesday after eating some typical street food dishes in the Ortakoy neighborhood.
