“Bad reporter”Trump insults journalist after exhaustion article
The New York Times analyzed that President Trump has recently reduced his public appearances and seems tired. Some time later, he raged against the author online. He had never worked so hard in his life and he passed his medical test perfectly.
US President Donald Trump was upset by its appearance in an article in the New York Times and personally insulted its author. In a published report, the newspaper wrote of the 79-year-old that he appeared less open than in his first term and also sometimes showed signs of fatigue during those appearances.
On his platform Truth Social, he insulted the newspaper as a “CHEESE SHEET” and “ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE.” The “radical left-wing crazies” at the paper knew their portrayal was wrong. He insulted journalist Katie Rogers, who worked with colleague Dylan Freedman on the article, as a “third-rate reporter who is ugly inside and out.”
“I’ve never worked so hard in my life,” Trump said. “Yet the left-wing radicals in the soon-to-be-defunct New York Times wrote inflammatory articles about me that I might lose steam, even though the facts indicated otherwise.” He pointed to a recent medical exam that was “perfect.” The New York Times said its reporting was accurate and based on facts. “Insults and personal attacks will not change that, and our journalists will continue to cover this administration, despite intimidation tactics like these.”
For years, Trump has portrayed himself as the victim of a media that was allegedly highly critical and hostile towards him. Therefore, the US President has repeatedly threatened several media companies with libel lawsuits worth billions of dollars. Critics accused him of discrediting female journalists in particular with his derogatory comments.
“New York Times”: Trump shortens working hours
Based on its analysis of Trump’s official schedule, the New York Times came to the following conclusion: His first planned events started about an hour and a half later on average than in the first year of his first term. At the same time, the event will end at a time comparable to that time. Therefore, he only attended most public meetings between lunchtime and 5 p.m. According to the newspaper’s analysis, his attendance at official events fell by almost 40 percent compared to his first term.
Trump became the oldest president in United States history when he took office, beginning his second presidential term in January. After growing doubts about his mental fitness at the end of Democratic predecessor Joe Biden’s term in office, there has been repeated speculation about Trump’s health in recent months.
This was triggered by photos of bruises on his hands and swollen legs, some of which appeared to be covered with make-up. Trump explained the bruises were due to frequent handshakes, and Trump’s spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, also cited the use of blood thinners as a cause. A few months ago, the White House announced that Trump suffered from chronic venous insufficiency – a harmless disease of the leg veins that mainly occurs in elderly people.
