Former Trump supporters fear for his safety

Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene faces a major threat. The trigger was a dispute with Donald Trump.

US Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said she received threats after Donald Trump publicly attacked her. He wrote on Platform X that a private security company had contacted him about security issues. Greene said the threats were prompted by statements from “the most powerful man in the world.”

Greene is a longtime supporter of the president. However, he has deviated from his path several times in recent months. He recently spoke out in favor of full disclosure of the Epstein files. He supported a request from the opposition Democratic Party for the House of Representatives to vote on the acquittal. Not long afterward, Trump said he was withdrawing all support for him.

The president denies any close ties to Epstein. However, emails and documents and images from years past suggest that there were at least conversations and encounters with the sex offender later in life. Epstein was found dead in his prison cell in 2019. According to authorities, it was a suicide.
