Mohamed Jaite, the lawyer for four people charged on Thursday after clashes that occurred during the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert at the Paris Philharmonie, announced this Sunday to franceinfo that he had filed two complaints on Saturday, including one against X for “violence“.
This complaint is opposedviolencewas submitted while two of the four pro-Palestinian activists received blows from the audience, while brandishing smoke bombs in the room in protest against the holding of this concert.
Another complaint was filed for “violation of investigative confidentiality” against Europe 1, for having revealed the names and dates of birth of the four defendants, its lawyer said. These four pro-Palestinian activists, three men and one woman, were charged and placed under judicial supervision this Sunday, the Paris prosecutor’s office announced earlier.
The Palestine Action France group claimed on Instagram that there were disturbances at the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert on Thursday evening at the Philharmonie de Paris. This week, at Le Grand Jury (RTL/M6/Le Figaro/Public Sénat), Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez confirmed that “the dissolution file is being examined” regarding this organization. This dissolution would be a “serious attack on fundamental freedoms of expression, organization and demonstration”, reacted Mohamed Jaite, who is also a lawyer for Palestine Action in France.
