Three people in hospital: Workers injured, some seriously, due to deflagration in Hamburg. Criminal police are now investigating the cause of the incident.

Three workers were injured in a deflagration at a factory in Hamburg on Sunday – two of them seriously. Rescue workers took two seriously injured men and one slightly injured person to hospital, a fire department spokesman said.

Emergency services were initially unable to provide any information about the exact cause of the deflagration or any further details regarding the incident. According to police, the criminal investigation department has started investigating the cause of the accident.
