The launch of this initial orientation and consultation service is within the framework of the directives of the Presidency of Confindustria Udine, developed within the Human Resources Commission of the Association headed by Mario Toniutti, with the aim of encouraging quality immigration as a further impetus for socio-economic development in our region.
The first appointment of the new “International Mobility” desk will be held next Thursday, November 27, from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Interested companies can make an appointment for a free initial orientation consultation lasting 30 minutes.
The Argentinian case
A few weeks ago the event “Argentina-Friuli: bridge of opportunities”, organized by Confindustria Udine in collaboration with the startup Back to Italy, investigated the phenomenon of return immigration as a factor in the development of the region, also in the name of strengthening the historical ties between the region and the Friulian community in Argentina.
Individual return stories can – it is said – be transformed into new social, cultural and economic opportunities for the area, combining the desire to return to the area of origin with the employment opportunities offered by local businesses. More than 100 Italian-Argentinian returnees attended, who have found work in our region for several years.
The “Return to Italy Argentina” project aims to involve Italian-Argentine youth in the region, previously trained in Argentina, to meet recruitment needs in strategic sectors of our manufacturing such as metalworking, construction, wood and plastic furniture. A significant advantage is that many Italian-Argentines have or can obtain dual passports, and are therefore not included in the restricted flow decision quota. Furthermore, the aim “is not just to bring individual workers here, but entire families, to encourage integration and rooting” explains the president of Confindustria Udine, Luigino Pozzo.
